Sunway University Press is proud to share the success of the cross-continental book tour of our latest book Xántus and/és Borneo: A Hungarian Naturalist in 19th-Century Sarawak. Held from June to July 2025, the tour marked the international launch of Xántus, authored by Dr Tamas Kiss from Sunway University, Dr Balázs Venkovits from the University of Debrecen, Hungary, and Christopher Higgs from the Borneo Perantis Co-Research Initiative.
Sunway University Press sat down with Dr Tamas Kiss, Dr Balazs Venkovits and Mr Christopher Higgs as they talked about the discoveries of János Xántus in their book talk, "Xántus and/és Borneo".

Organised by Sunway University Press, the Investing in Happiness: Book Launch & Chat took place at Sunway University on 19 March 2025. The event brought together thought leaders, mental health advocates, scholars, and students for an engaging discourse on well-being and resilience.
For the fourth consecutive year, Sunway University Press’ books have again been recognised among the 50 Best Malaysian Titles for International Rights by the Ministry of Education’s National Book Council of Malaysia. Three of the Press’ books have been awarded this year, adding yet another honour to the Press’ growing list of accolades.
