The Sunway University Press team had a meaningful visit to Kuantan, connecting with booksellers, publishers, libraries, and industry partners.
During the visit, we had valuable conversations about local reading interests, regional book trends, and opportunities to strengthen collaboration within the Malaysian publishing industry.
We visited the Pahang Book Fair at Kuantan Berjaya Megamall, meeting with booksellers, contractors, and members of the publishing community. Discussions with representatives from the state library and MAPIM also opened up opportunities for future collaboration.
The trip was a reminder that publishing is about more than books — it is about Kuan Xi, building meaningful relationships, sharing ideas, and growing together.
