Strengthening Research and Scholarship at the School of Education
The School of Education is truly honoured to have Prof. Mahendhiran Sanggaran Nair, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Research and Sustainability at Sunway University, for an engaging and insightful session with our academic staff.
In this interactive dialogue, Prof. Mahendhiran shared valuable perspectives on navigating the research landscape, developing impactful scholarship, and building a sustainable academic research career.
The session, organised and moderated by Prof. Subhan Zein, centred on four pillars of academia:
- research and development,
- teaching and learning,
- internal engagement, and
- external engagement.
SOE academics actively exchanged ideas, asked questions, and reflected on their own research journeys. The discussion sparked thoughtful conversations on research strategy, collaboration, and translating research into meaningful societal impact.
