Shaping Future Pathways: High School Students from India Visit Sunway University
Welcome to Sunway University!
A meaningful campus visit took place at Sunway University today where we welcomed students and teachers from India, representing a few schools from Delhi, Karnataka and Bangalore.
The visit began with a special session by the School of Mathematical Sciences (SMS) titled Level Up Your Future with Data and AI/ML. Students explored the advantages of data science, emerging technologies, and the exciting global career opportunities shaping the future workforce.
This was followed by a Teaching & Learning Facilities Tour at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), where students visited state-of-the-art laboratories and learned about Sunway University’s net-zero building and sustainability-driven design.
At the Faculty of Life and Medical Sciences (FMLS) and Sir Jeffrey Cheah Sunway Medical School, participants explored biomedical laboratories, observed samples, and gained insights into our programmes. A highlight was an interactive lecture on the anatomy and function of the heart, offering a first-hand experience of Sunway’s innovative and student-centred learning environment.
The visit also included a campus tour highlighting Sunway City’s sustainability initiatives and its rich development history.
“We heard Sunway is a city! What we heard was true.”
We hope this experience sparked curiosity, inspired new ambitions, and provided students with a genuine sense of campus life at Sunway University. It was a pleasure hosting such an engaged group, and we look forward to welcoming them again as they continue exploring their academic journeys and future possibilities.
