Research Excellence Recognised as Sunway University Academic Staff and PhD Student Win Best Presenter Awards at International Forum
We are proud to share that both Professor Numan Arshid, Head of Sunway Centre for Electrochemical Energy and Sustainable Technology (SCEEST) and Hafiz Kashif Razzaq, a PhD student at Sunway Centre for Electrochemical Energy and Sustainable Technology (SCEEST) have been recognised for their outstanding achievements at the International Forum on Key Materials and Technologies for Solid-State Batteries. Both recipients were honoured with the Best Presenter Award, highlighting the strength of Sunway University’s research contributions on the global stage.
Professor Numan Arshid received the award for his presentation entitled "2D Heterostructure Nanomaterials for Bifunctional Electrochromic Supercapacitors: Challenges and Prospects," showcased innovative research on advanced materials for next-generation energy storage technologies.
Hafiz Kashif Razzaq was also recognised with the Best Presenter Award for his presentation titled "RSM-Driven, 20-min Microwave Synthesis of Na₃V₂(PO₄)₃/Cwith Semi-Graphitic Shell: From Optimisation to Post-Cycling Insight." His research was commended for its significant contribution to solid-state battery materials, demonstrating strong technical depth, methodological innovation, and clear scientific communication.
These accolades underscore Sunway University’s commitment to nurturing a robust research culture that supports excellence among both academic staff and postgraduate students.
