A Remarkable Victory for Sunway University at NACES 2025!

We are thrilled to share that Sunway University made an incredible debut at the National Chemical Engineering Symposium (NACES) 2025, held at Universiti Sains Malaysia on 13–14 December 2025.

 

Three talented student teams from the School of Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology proudly represented Sunway University in this prestigious competition. Leading the way, Team Aurarara—comprising Hans Jaden Lim, Chong Chee Hin, and Tan Yee Henn, all third-year Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with Honours students—clinched the Champion title in the Technical Case Study and Presentation category!

 

Their innovative solution perfectly aligned with the theme:

“Synergising Chemical Engineering and Sustainable Microelectronics for a Greener Future.”

 

This victory is truly historic as it marks Sunway University’s first-ever participation in NACES—and a championship win! Kudos to the team and their supervisor, Ir. Dr. Yoon Li Wan, for this outstanding achievement.
