Professor Numan Arshid and His Team Successfully Filed a Patent
Congratulations to Professor Numan Arshid, Adjunct Professor Mohammad Khalid and Dr Wong Weng Pin on successfully filing a patent titled "Thermoelectric Composite Derived from Recycled Waste Material and a Method of Making the Same."
This innovation reflects our continued commitment to sustainable materials research, where waste-derived resources are transformed into high-value functional materials with potential applications in thermoelectric systems and advanced sensing technologies.
The work was carried out by Dr Wong Weng Pin (during his PhD studies), Professor Numan Arshid (Supervisor), and Adjunct Professor Mohammad Khalid (Co-supervision). Special thanks to affiliate member Mr. Pyi Phyo Aung for his support, particularly in the IoT component of the project.
