Professor Mayeen Uddin Khandaker Secures ERAN FY2026 Collaborative Research Grant

 

Congratulations to Prof. Mayeen Uddin Khandaker on being awarded the Environmental Radioactivity Research Network Center (ERAN) FY2026 Collaborative Researcher Grant from the University of Tsukuba, Japan (Grant No. I-26-15), with a funding amount of JPY 200,000.

His research project, entitled “Assessment of Indoor and Waterborne Radon Levels and Development of Mitigation Strategies in Malaysia,” focuses on assessing radon exposure risks and developing effective mitigation approaches to enhance public health and environmental safety. This international collaboration is expected to lead to impactful research outputs and further strengthen global research partnerships in the areas of environmental radioactivity and public health.
