A New Chapter with Jissen Women’s University

It was a great honour to welcome a presidential delegation from Jissen Women's University to Sunway University for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.

We were privileged to host Prof. Namba Masanori, President; Mr Yusuke Uchida, Director of the President’s Office; and Prof. Nakayama Tomokazu, Director of the Center for Language Education and International Programs (CLEIP).

The signing marks an important milestone in the relationship between our two universities and reflects our shared commitment to strengthening academic and cultural exchange between Malaysia and Japan.

This partnership is especially meaningful as Jissen Women’s University prepares to send its first cohort of students to Sunway University in October 2026. We look forward to welcoming them and providing a rewarding academic and cultural experience in Malaysia.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the School of Psychology and the Faculty of Medical and Life Sciences, Sunway University for establishing this important connection and paving the way for such a valuable partnership.
