IGSC Supports Sipro’s Transition to a Return-on-Values Model
Transitioning from a traditional Return-on-Investment (ROI) model to a Return-on-Values (ROV) approach is no easy process. It requires companies to look beyond sales figures or quarterly returns and to create sustainable value for the planet, society and the people who power the business.
On 26-27th January, the IGSC - Sunway Institute for Global Strategy and Competitiveness team sat with 35 members from Sipro Plastic Industries Sdn Bhd to facilitate transitioning the entire company towards an ROV model. Initiated by Managing Director Datuk Noraini Soltan and Afiqah Rahim, BFP ACA, we brought together senior leaders, department heads, and staff to co-create a new ROV-driven future and what it takes to get there.
We were deeply encouraged by the leadership team’s willingness to commit to an open and honest discussion regarding their future while acknowledging the current realities that needed to be addressed. They recognised that for a successful shift, solutions would require a top-down and bottom-up approach.
We look forward to seeing Sipro becoming their industry's role model for values-driven growth.
