IEP Students Experience Ramadan and Eid Through Culture and Community
On the 2nd of March 2026, CELS’ IEP Team organised a meaningful cross-cultural communication event for IEP students from Japan, China, Congo, and Turkmenistan. The session explored the values and philosophy behind Ramadan and Eid, which teach the importance of self-discipline and empathy while encouraging patience and honesty. These universal values are especially significant in education and reflect what CELS upholds and promotes among its students.
To make the experience more engaging, students participated in hands-on activities such as crafting a traditional keris from coconut leaves and joining a cultural dance session.
