Welcoming Our First Batch of Counselling Practicum Trainees: SPCC Ushers in Its First Practicum Cohort

A New Chapter Begins at SPCC!

We’re thrilled to officially welcome the first batch of Master of Counselling students to the Sunway Psychology and Counselling Centre (SPCC)! These students will be undergoing their Practicum throughout the September semester.

As part of their onboarding, they completed a two-day orientation which introduced them to the centre’s structure, their responsibilities as Trainees, use of counselling facilities, and key health and safety procedures.

We’re proud to share that our Practicum students are now fully equipped and ready to offer FREE counselling services to both the Sunway community and the public.

This marks a significant milestone for both the Master of Counselling programme and SPCC, a step forward in empowering future mental health professionals.
