Visit to the Australian High Commission in Malaysia
As part of the Sunway Business School Embassy Series, students and staff from Sunway University and Sunway College had the privilege of visiting the Australian High Commission in Malaysia for a meaningful sharing and dialogue session on 9 December 2025.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Ms Sophie Horgan, Counsellor (Education and Research), and Mr Paroksh Prasad, First Secretary (Political), who shared valuable insights on Australia–Malaysia relations, Australia’s education and research ecosystem, and opportunities for academic collaboration, student mobility, internships, and global career pathways.
Sunway Education’s long-standing partnerships with Australian institutions were further strengthened through this engagement, opening avenues for deeper collaboration in education, research and global learning initiatives. The visit enriched students’ global awareness while broadening their understanding of international diplomacy and career possibilities beyond borders.
Through the SBS Embassy Series, Sunway Education continues to nurture globally minded graduates and strengthen meaningful international partnerships that support learning beyond the classroom.
