During the two-day event held at the Genting International Convention Centre (GICC), Dr. Daniel Chong, Dean of SHTM, Sunway University, was invited as a panelist on the session discussing A Sustainable Approach for Hospitality Design alongside industry experts like Jeffrey Smith (Vice President, Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas), Linda Heejung Lee (Principal Director, Hirsch Bedner Associates, HBA Korea), and Ailynn Seah (CEO, The Lumiere Consultancy). The discussion shed light on how sustainable practices can transform hospitality design by reducing environmental impact while enhancing guest experience.
