SUSC General Member Orientation (GEO)
We are delighted to officially welcome the newly appointed executive members of the Sunway University Student Council Term 2025/2026! They have embarked on their journey through the General Executive Orientation (GEO), a welcoming and training session designed to equip our members with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in their roles within the council.
During the first GEO session, we are honored to have our student council advisor Teh Kean Sing, Head of Student Leadership, Engagement & Sports from Student Life for leading an insightful session on leadership qualities, which had a significant impact on the new team for Term 25/26 and will guide them as they move forward.
For the second GEO session, we are pleased to have Teach For Malaysia, an independent NGO on a mission to empower all children in Malaysia to realise their potential. The session sharing about Vision to Velocity: Leading Impactful Change on Campus served as a powerful reminder of the Sunway University Student Councils’s core value -
“Your Voice, Our Concern.”
At the Sunway University Student Council, we are committed to fostering leadership and personal growth, ensuring that our members have access to the best opportunities for development within the university, and with the Term 25/26, we believe great things are ahead which will benefit both the council and the Sunway University student community.
Once again, a huge thanks to Ms Lee Siok Ping for her welcoming speech for the new executive members, Teh Kean Sing for the informative leadership sharing, and Nadhirah A., Chelsea Michcal, Najwa Bahiyyah, Laraine Ooi from Teach For Malaysia.
With that, we extend our best wishes to the Board of 2025/2026, cheers to an inspiring and impactful term ahead!
