Sunway University x EQ Kuala Lumpur: Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

We are honoured to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Sunway University and EQ Kuala Lumpur, thus officiating a meaningful collaboration between academia and industry.

EQ’s outstanding accolades — including No. 1 City Hotel in Malaysia (2022–2025), No. 2 in the 15 Favourite City Hotels in Asia (2025), and No. 22 in the 100 Favourite Hotels in the World (2025) by Travel + Leisure Co. Awards — are a testament to their world-class quality and consistent excellence in hospitality.

Through this collaboration, our students from the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management will gain invaluable opportunities to learn from industry leaders, engage in hands-on experiences, and apply their classroom knowledge in a competitive and rigorous real-world environment.
