Sunway University & Sunway University Press Partner with Le Cordon Bleu

On 14 November 2025, Sunway University — together with Sunway University Press — signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the world-renowned Le Cordon Bleu, represented locally by Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia (Sunway).

This partnership deepens our longstanding collaboration with Le Cordon Bleu and heralds the co-creation of a world-class collection of culinary publications produced in close partnership with Sunway University Press. The series will celebrate the union of time-honoured culinary techniques and contemporary innovation, with special emphasis on the vibrant, diverse flavours of Asian gastronomy.

The ceremony was honoured by Prof. Dato’ Elizabeth Lee, CEO of Sunway Education Group, and Mr. André Cointreau, President of Le Cordon Bleu International. The MOU was signed on behalf of Sunway University by Prof. Abhi Veerakumarasivam (Deputy Vice-Chancellor & Provost) and on behalf of Le Cordon Bleu by Mr. Charles Cointreau (Vice President, Asia Pacific). The signing was witnessed by Carol Wong (Head, Sunway University Press), Ming Ho (Senior General Manager, Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia), and Chef Stephane Frelon (Technical & Academic Director, Le Cordon Bleu Malaysia).
