Sunway University to Launch Success X-Factor Coaching Initiative on 25 November 2025
Sunway University is set to launch its pioneering Success X-Factor Coaching Initiative on 25 November 2025 at the Sir Jeffrey Cheah Hall. The event will recognise Tan Sri Sir Dr Jeffrey Cheah KBE AO as a Master Coach, alongside the appointed Executive and Industry Success Coaches.
The Success X-Factor Coaching Initiative represents a transformative step in the University’s commitment to nurturing holistic, career-ready graduates. Designed to enrich the student journey beyond the classroom, this initiative introduces a structured, three-tiered coaching framework that accompanies students throughout their academic progression:
- Year 1 – Academic Success Coach
Supporting students as they transition into university life and navigate their academic pathways. - Year 2 – Industry Success Coach
Connecting students with industry professionals who will offer personalised guidance on internships, career pathways, and industry expectations. - Year 3 – Executive Success Coach
Providing final-year students with an Up Close & Personal engagement opportunity with senior leaders and CEOs to prepare them for life beyond graduation.
A key highlight of this initiative is the first cycle of forming a community of 100 Industry Success Coaches – experienced professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders who will share real-world insights, mentorship, and encouragement with Sunway students. These coaches will play a vital role in strengthening the connection between academic learning and professional preparedness.
The launch underscores Sunway University’s dedication to reshaping educational experiences through meaningful coaching, industry engagement, and strong partnerships within the community.
