Prof. Goh Bey Hing Honoured with Malaysia's Research Star Award

Prof. Goh Bey Hing has been awarded the prestigious Malaysia's Research Star Award (MRSA) by the Ministry of Higher Education in collaboration with Clarivate Analytics Web of Science Journals. This national recognition celebrates his outstanding contributions to research, particularly through his work at the Sunway Biofunctional Molecules Discovery Centre (SBMDC), under the Faculty of Medical and Life Sciences, Sunway University.

He shares this honour with Professor Lim Weng Marc from the Sunway Business School, who was also recognised for excellence in the field of social sciences.

Prof. Goh expressed his deepest gratitude to Dato’ Seri DiRaja Dr Zambry Abd. Kadir, Minister of Higher Education, for the recognition and kind encouragement. The award, he noted, came as both a delightful surprise and a motivating milestone in his academic journey.

This achievement reflects the collective efforts and unwavering support of his collaborators and the leadership at Sunway University.
