FMLS Exploration Day 2025 | Inspiring the Next Generation of Scientists
The Department of Biomedical Sciences was delighted to host bright and curious students from UEC, STPM, IGCSE, A-Level, and Foundation programmes during the recent FMLS Exploration Day!
Our visitors participated in engaging, hands-on workshops and insightful career talks designed to deepen their understanding of biomedical sciences.
UEC/STPM/IGCSE students explored:
Glucose and protein detection techniques
Career pathways in the biomedical field
Meanwhile, A-Level/Foundation students took part in our G6PD Spot Fluorescence Test workshop, a vital screening technique in newborn care and genetic diagnostics.
It was an absolute pleasure to see these young minds dive into science with such enthusiasm and energy. We hope this experience has inspired many to pursue a future in health and biomedical sciences!
