FASS Students Gain Real-World Insights on Journalism Ethics During Visit to Star Media Group
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the incredible team at Star Media Group Berhad for hosting staff and students from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Sunway University, during an inspiring visit to their facilities.
FASS students had the unique opportunity to explore the radio station, theatre, post-production studios, and operations floor. Most meaningfully, they engaged directly with Star’s talented writers and media professionals on the timely and relevant topic of ethics in journalism. The conversations left students feeling inspired and opened their minds to exciting new possibilities for their future careers.
The University is especially excited about the upcoming apprenticeship programme, which will offer students valuable industry experience and a potential first step towards becoming the next generation of award-winning journalists.
Appreciation is extended to Zuhaili Akmal Ismail for coordinating this meaningful experience for students from the School of Communication and Media Studies.
