Coffee Appreciation Workshop by the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management

 

The best conversations often start with a good cup of coffee. 

Two weeks ago, our colleagues came together for a Coffee Appreciation Workshop that was more than just a tasting session. Guided by Karen Lui and Shireen Tan from the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Sunway University, we explored coffee’s origins, uncovered the secrets of different flavour profiles, and discovered how every brew tells its own story.

The real highlight? Watching colleagues connect — laughing, learning, and sharing their own coffee journeys as they sampled different roasts. What began as a simple workshop became a space for connection, curiosity, and community.
