Celebrating Innovation at SBMDC: Best Innovation Award Winners
The Sunway Biofunctional Molecules Discovery Centre (SBMDC) and the Faculty of Medical and Life Sciences (FMLS) extend their warmest congratulations to Dr Wu Yuan Seng Wu, and his outstanding team: Dr Yap Fook Choy, Dr Alan Tan Sang Loon, Ms Michelle Felicia Lee (PhD student), and Ms Samhita Palasupramaniam, a second-year Biomedicine undergraduate from the Department of Biological Sciences.
The team was honoured with the Best Innovation Award at the Innovate for Longevity, Health, and Wellness Challenge, held in conjunction with the Research & Innovation Forum on “Realizing Well-being in ASEAN through Advanced Technologies.” This prestigious event, co-organized by Sustainable Food Asia Co., Ltd. and SBMDC, aims to advance sustainable health solutions focused on longevity, wellness, and quality of life.
Each award, valued at RM1,500, was proudly presented by Dr Kengo Suzuki, CEO of Regenesome Inc., during a special ceremony attended by Prof. Raja Affendi Raja Ali and Mr BoonLee Chiam, Director of Sustainable Food Asia Co., Ltd.
