Building Your Research Career: The x3R Researcher
Sunway Business School recently hosted a workshop titled 'Building Your Research Career: The x3R Researcher', which was wonderfully conducted by Dr Rand Low, Associate Professor at Bond Business School, Bond University (Australia) and Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Queensland, at Sunway University on 6 October 2025.
The workshop, titled “Building Your Research Career: The x3R Researcher,” was conducted by Dr Rand Low, Associate Professor at Bond Business School, Bond University (Australia) and Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Queensland.
Organized collaboratively by the Early Career Researcher Network (ECRN) and the Yunus Social Business Centre (YSBC), the session guided participants on their journey to becoming Recognised, Reputable, and Responsible (x3R) scholars.
Dr Rand Low anchored an engaging and interactive session, exploring the vision, mission, and purpose of academic growth, the nine-step research process, pillars of academia, strategies to mitigate research risks, pitch impactful research, and develop a practical action plan. His rich blend of academic insight and corporate experience made the discussion both practical and motivational.
