Workshop : AI and Immersive Learning Futures in Practice

Visit by Delegation from Ministry of Education Brunei to Sunway University 

On 1 December 2025, we were pleased to welcome a delegation from the Ministry of Education Brunei to Sunway University’s School of Education for an insightful workshop on AI and Immersive Learning Futures in Practice. 

The participants had the opportunity to engage with innovative educational technologies and learn about pedagogies using Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), microcredentials, and AI tools designed to enhance career guidance, student advising, and learning support in Brunei’s secondary schools.

Through hands-on demonstrations and meaningful discussions, attendees explored how these technologies can create more engaging and flexible learning experiences. The workshop also provided space for reflection on how to overcome challenges and seize opportunities in adopting these innovations.

We are excited about the possibilities this collaboration opens and look forward to working closely with the Ministry of Education Brunei to support future-ready education in the region.
