About the Speaker
Luanne is the Group Chief Sustainability Officer at CIMB, one of ASEAN’s leading banking groups. She leads the bank’s transformation into a regional leader in responsible banking. Luanne also serves as the Working Group Chair of the CEO Action Network Malaysia and sits on the Steering Group of the UN-convened Net Zero Banking Alliance.
With a rich background in sustainability, strategy, transformation, and change management across financial services, consulting, and startups, Luanne brings deep insights and experience. She holds a Bachelor's and master’s in manufacturing engineering from Cambridge University and a Master of Liberal Arts in Sustainability from Harvard Extension School.
Her accolades include being named to the Eco Business A-list, Top Sustainability Superwoman in Asia, and Top 10 Women in Sustainability in APAC.
