In celebration of its 9th Anniversary, the Sunway University Chinese Orchestra (SUCO) presents a concert themed “Musical Atlas: Mapping the Echoes”, inviting audiences on a musical exploration of diverse cultures, memories, and emotional experiences. Through a carefully curated programme, the concert aims to transform music into a journey, allowing listeners to connect with the stories, cultural heritage, and meanings behind each work.

The repertoire showcases the richness and versatility of Chinese orchestral music through ensembles of varying sizes, highlighting a wide range of musical colours, styles, and expressions. By weaving together contrasting moods and artistic landscapes, the concert reflects its central theme of discovering and experiencing different paths through music.

Entirely organised by students of various programmes at Sunway University and supported by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, from planning and promotion to sponsorship, designs and performance, the concert also demonstrates the dedication and creativity of the younger generation. Beyond celebrating Chinese orchestral music, the event seeks to promote appreciation, continuity, and innovation in Chinese musical culture among the wider Malaysian community.
