Dr David Landes (Duke University) will be speaking on Jazz, Creativity, and Academic Practice. The talk introduces a set of practical principles drawn from jazz improvisation and shows how they can be applied to academic life. By rethinking how structure, spontaneity, and collaboration work together, the session offers fresh ways to approach both research and teaching.

Dr Landes is a professor at Duke University, an affiliate of the Strother School of Radical Attention, and co-author of Attensity! A Manifesto of the Attention Liberation Movement.
