About the Speaker
As the former Chief Police Officer (CPO) of Penang, Dato’ Seri A. Thaiveegan brings over 34 years of experience in crime prevention, serious crime investigation, and commercial crime enforcement, including leading major investigative divisions at Bukit Aman. Since his retirement, he remains active in community safety work, including serving as Security Advisor with Sunway Group Security and as the Deputy Chairman of the Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) Selangor.

This session will cover:

  • How to stay alert and avoid common student-targeted crimes
  • Understanding your rights as a victim
  • What to do immediately after an incident
  • How investigations work (and what to expect)
  • Where and how to seek help
